Novum Wines was founded just five years ago by Steve Daniel, buyer for Oddbins for 17 years. The intention was to look for wines with personality and which reflect their origins, a place, an individual or a combination of all three.

In just a short time it became the most talked-about supplier to the exclusive London trade with a tightly defined list of just 136 wines of piercing brilliance and originality. Hallgarten Druitt jumped at the chance of taking Novum on board in early 2010.

The ethos behind Novum remains exactly the same - Steve has the freedom to pursue whichever project he wants, to go to whichever region he desires and to continue to seek the wines which reflect his own taste. It is a perfect marriage!
