“We’re proud of the way the two portfolio tastings went and thrilled at customer reaction,” said Andrew Bewes , Hallgarten Druitt’s Managing Director.
The two tastings were held on Tuesday 8th at London’s Dorchester hotel and on Thursday 10th at Aspire in Leeds and featured wines from the Hallgarten Druitt and Novum portfolios – the first such large-scale tastings since Hallgarten Druitt and Novum joined forces last year.
“Customer feedback about the wines was very positive. We were able to showcase our traditional strengths and highlight some of Steve Daniel ’s purchases from such places as Greece , India and Japan ,” said Bewes.
Over 1,000 guests tasted almost 700 wines at the Dorchester , with almost 300 guests tasting 450 wines at Aspire.
“These are record attendances for our annual tastings and highlight the fact that there is more interest than ever from customers seeking great wines and great value,” added Bewes
