Hamilton Russell Chardonnay 2008

Ripe and stylish, with melon, ginger, yellow apple and pear flavours that glide over well-embedded acidity. There's a lingering whiff of grilled hazelnut on the rich finish. Not quite as dense as the 2007, but still outstanding. Points 90

James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, September 2009

Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Silberlack 1st Growth 2007

Dry, with the pallor of a youthful Rheingau, a grapey aroma and, like all German naturally dry wines, it had a highish(13%) alcohol content. A wine designed for, and that needs, food to bring out its full flavour and character.

Micheal Broadbent, June 2009

Ondarre Graciano Rioja 2004

Big, dark, concentrated fruit. Big structure, big fruit, big tannins. Lip smacking acidity. 5 Stars Award Winner and Best Value

Adam Lechmere, Decanter, April 2009

Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo DOCG 2004

Shows a complex nose of blackberry, tanned leather, sandalwood and cedar. Fascinating. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a long, long, finish. Concentrated yet balanced. Beautiful and complete. Points 95

James Suckling, Wine Spectator, April 2009

Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2007

So big and gorgeous, it's like Marlborough Sauvignon in drag. Luscious, complex. Points 94
